Biking is your most favourite sport? Then you have chosen the right place!

The Drauradweg – one of the most beautiful biking tracks in Europe – 366 km of biking-fun from the source of the Drau on the Toblacher Feld in Italy until Marburg in Slovenia – is situated directly near our guesthouse. A trip along the Drau is ideal for families and connoisseurs, as it is steadily descending from west to east,  pass the beautiful castles, idyllic villages and old cities. For all our bike-loving guests, we have a lockable storage room for the bikes in our house.

For those who enjoy swimming and water-fun, we have a swimming centre nearby: the solar-heated swimming centre in Sachsenburg, situated in the forest is only about 10 minutes (on foot) or 5 minutes (by car) from our guesthouse. The surrounding lakes (Weissensee, Millstättersee, ...) can be reached by car in about 30 minutes. Due to the central position, our house is an ideal starting point for wonderful hiking tours into the pure nature round Sachsenburg, as well as for daily mountain bike tours. Behind the guesthouse, there are two tennis courts.

In Winter, numerous and well-known ski resorts can be reached easily, e.g. the  Katschberg, the glacier Mölltaler, the Goldeck or Bad Kleinkirchheim. Additional sports activities in the region: cross-country skiing, tobogganing, curling, ice-skating and much more.
